E-biker and cyclists are welcome to the “Hotel am Stadtpark” in Hilden

Cycling in the “Bergisches Land”: The “Hotel am Stadtpark” specially welcomes cyclists and e-bikers, thanks to a lockable bicycle garage, a drying room for wet clothes and a charging station for e-bikes.

Our Hotel is located next to the center of Hilden and the city park. Hilden has its own very special charm, as it still has an intact city center with boutiques, cafés and shops for daily needs and thus invites you to linger.

At the same time, the “Hotel am Stadtpark” is conveniently located to the tram and bus – station (5 minutes by feet) and only a few minutes away from the A3/A46 motorway junction Hilden (19). Its location allows trips to the old town of Düsseldorf, Cologne, Essen and Duisburg.

For cyclists there are some routes in and around Hilden, but you could easily reach the old town of Düsseldorf and Cologne along the Rhine, as well as the “Bergisches Land” with many routes: https://youtu.be/0hXXhPZk0zE

Well developed and plain cycle tracks on former railways make it possible: The network of panorama cycle paths is around 220 kilometers long. It connects the “Bergisches Land”, https://www.dasbergische.de/ the southern Ruhr area and the “Sauerland” region and leads to the popular river cycle routes besides the Rhine, Ruhr and Sieg river. Around 150 kilometers lead over former railways, there are only a few more strenuous passages to overcome on connecting routes.
